In 2001, Annie’s largest client with over $100 million in revenue, and over 100 entities, brought her on to work exclusively with his companies. In 2007, Annie returned to public practice as the Tax Director for a small local firm in the Dallas area, overseeing the tax compliance and strategies for over 500 companies/individuals. In 2009, Annie founded AFairchild CPA to carry on the practice she first initiated in 1992. Her expertise lies in providing tax consulting and compliance to businesses, as well as structural and transactional consulting, from start-ups to well-established businesses.
Annie has been married to her husband, Brad, since 1986, and they have four beautiful daughters. She enjoys camping and crafts, as well as spending time with her family and her church.


Ginger Roper

Ginger Roper
Principal, CFO, CAS Director
Ginger Roper brings over 20 years of extensive experience to AFairchild. She has worked with companies as a fractional CFO to develop and implement financial systems, strategies, processes and controls to improve clients’ operations and financials. Ginger is dedicated to achieving clients’ financial needs through a variety of services, including applying technical expertise to ensure compliance with and efficient application of GAAP, analyzing and creating a system of internal controls, review of payroll and sales tax laws and compliance, and the preparation of timely financials statements. She also assists clients with their banking relationships to obtain financing as well as work with client vendors. She has consulted with a wide variety of clients, including retail, restaurants, commercial and private real estate developers, professional services, information technology service providers, manufacturing and distributing operations, and nonprofits.
Ginger received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington. She is a native Texan and lives in Plano, Texas with her husband of 26 years. She enjoys tailgating for Texas A&M home games to visit her three children, cruising the country side in one of their antique cars, and is an active member of her church.


Sheri Headrick, CPA

Sheri received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University. She has spent more than 20 years in public accounting in the Dallas area and specializes in tax planning and compliance for business owners. With expertise in a variety of industries including professional services, oil and gas, manufacturing, retail, and construction, Sheri provides her clients with exceptional insight and professionalism.
Her background also includes hands-on entrepreneurial services for venture-backed and family-owned businesses including review of internal management reports and statements, multi-state and local taxes, and property tax matters. She holds a CPA license in Texas and is a member of the AICPA.
A native Texan, Sheri lives in Frisco, Texas with her husband and has two children. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and traveling.

Ryan Kennon, CPA
Audit Director
Ryan received his Bachelor’s in accounting from Washington University in St. Louis where he also played football for the university. He received his Master’s in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. He has spent 13 years in public accounting performing assurance services across a wide range of industries for small to mid-size companies. Ryan enjoys working through complex issues with clients and helping clients meet their assurances needs.
Ryan is a board member of PlaybyFaith – an organization that seeks to help underprivileged youth participate in youth sports by providing equipment and league fees.
Ryan and his wife Laura reside in Plano with their three children. Ryan enjoys traveling with the family, woodworking, and cooking over a wood-fire in the backyard.

Bryan McLemore
Leadership Development Director
Bryan McLemore, AFairchild’s Director of Leadership Development, facilitates and leads the AFairchild Client Engage initiatives and programs. Bryan is a native Texan with over 20 years of experience training teams and individuals in leadership experiences. Bryan has earned his master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and has worked at the academic level training university students in leadership and cross-cultural communication. Bryan spent many years working in the nonprofit sector on projects such as organizing centers for at-risk youth in Boston, Massachusetts and leading professional teams on humanitarian projects to 18 different nations. Today, Bryan has founded Next Level Renovations in Red Oak, Texas, and continues teaching at the university level. Bryan brings his passion and commitment to AFairchild Client Engage with the goal of inspiring high-impact individuals and teams.

Dennis Tapp

Dennis received his Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Panhandle State University in December 1996. He has spent 23 years in public accounting in the Dallas area, and joined AFairchild CPA in 2014. His primary disciplines include tax compliance and consulting for corporations, partnerships, and individuals for federal and state purposes. Dennis has substantial experience in the areas of partnership taxation, private equity, real estate, manufacturing distribution, food service, and high net wealth individuals. He is also a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents.
Dennis has been married to his wife Jennifer since 2008 and has one son Aaron. In his spare time, Dennis enjoys snow skiing, biking, shooting, listening to music, and is an active member Bent Tree Bible Fellowship.


Supervising Tax Manager
Adam Villarrial, EA, Supervising Tax Manager
Adam is the Tax Supervising Manager at AFairchild CPA who has over 9 years of experience in the field of accounting and tax. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Soon after graduation, he worked at a private firm as an Accounting Manager for 3 years before moving to AFairchild CPA in October 2015. Adam’s primary discipline is tax return preparation and consulting with clients as the manager of our Midlothian office. To stay up to date on tax expertise, Adam is a part of the community of tax professionals in the National Association of Enrolled Agents.
Outside of his profession, Adam spends his free time with his wife and son by going to concerts as a family, playing golf, and hunting.

As the Tax Manager at AFairchild CPA, Troy is attentive and creative in working with clients. Troy has over 10 years of experience in the financial arena, consulting with clients and strategizing on structure and tax impact. Troy received his bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2013 along with graduate-level classes at UT Dallas to contribute to his CPA license. He is also an active member in the professional network of the Texas Society of CPA’s.
Troy has been married since 2020 and enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling and power lifting.

Madison Ross, our Tax Manager, started his profession in tax accounting in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree from Austin College in Business Administration. He continued his education at The University of Tulsa with a Master’s in Accounting. Madison joined AFairchild, LLC in 2021, adding to his expertise of working with S-Corp and Partnership returns in various industries. Madison also holds a Certification in Cryptocurrency Taxation. His work experience and desire to learn more make him a great manager at our company.
Madison played football throughout college and now enjoys spending his time teaching and leading bible studies at his local Church while also taking seminary classes at Biola University. Apart from that, he enjoys spending time with his nieces and nephews who live in the DFW metropolitan area.

Jennifer Maj joined Afairchild in 2019 and received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University. She has over 25 years of experience in accounting and business management.
As the manager of the Client Accounting Services Team, Jennifer works closely with a variety of businesses and non-profit organizations to ensure they have accurate financial information. Her areas of expertise include accounting processes, business system implementation, implementing internal controls, financial statements, budgeting, and cleaning up accounting transactions for better financial reporting. She has consulted with a wide variety of clients, including professional services, construction, manufacturing, distributing operations and non-profit accounting and management. She is a QuickBooks certified Pro-Advisor and has experience with Xero, Sage & Microsoft Dynamics.

Esther received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Control Systems from The University of North Texas in 2008. Before joining AFairchild, she worked in a large public accounting firm as an auditor as well as an assistant finance director for a large nonprofit. Esther joined AFairchild, PC in 2019 as the Audit Manager and has spent most of her public accounting career specializing in the nonprofit, legal, and construction industries. Her passion is helping clients work to their full potential by creating a more efficient environment.
Born and raised in Texas, Esther lives in Melissa with her husband and their daughter. Esther enjoys traveling, drinking coffee, photography, shooting, and shopping with her family.
